Ben T. Cox, DVM PSC
The office became known as Crossroads Animal Clinic after a renovation in 2000. Dr. Cox has served in many capacities outside the office including past President of both the Taylor County Ag Council and the Taylor County Cattlemen's Association. He has served on the boards of the Campbellsvile-Taylor County Chamber of Commerce and Taylor County Animal Control. He is a deacon at Campbellsville Christian Church, a past Chairman of the Kentucky Christian School Board, Taylor County Chairperson for Friends of Scouting 2005, and a member of the AVMA, KVMA, and the ASPCA. He enjoys family time with his wife, Regina, and their 3 children, Amory, Taylor and Grant. They enjoy travel, snow skiing, involvement in their church, and local and college sports - with an emphasis on Auburn University and the University of Kentucky... in that order!
Dr. Cox is a farmer at heart and operates High View Angus, a registered Angus cattle farm. High View was selected by the Taylor County Fair Board as Taylor County's Finest Family Farm in 2004. The Coxes have 2 Black Labs, Brinkley and Jackson, 2 cats, Bo and Molly, and a miniature Dachshund, Sir Duke.
Terri Pettyjohn, DVM
Dr. Pettyjohn has cared for pets as an associate veterinarian at Crossroads Animal Clinic since June 2008. Dr. Pettyjohn is a native of Russell Springs, and attended Western Kentucky University where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry in 2002. She continued her education at Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Dr. Pettyjohn later completed a one-year internship at Cumberland Animal Hospital in small animal medicine and surgery in 2007. Her professional interests include internal medicine, dermatology and dentistry.
Dr. Pettyjohn is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), and the American Animal Hospital Association. Dr. Pettyjohn has also published multiple articles in the Russell Register newspaper on basic companion animal healthcare and husbandry.
Outside of the veterinary clinic, she enjoys scrapbooking, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and boating. Dr. Pettyjohn and her husband, Jeff, share their home with their three Great Danes, Java, Bruno, and Buffy, as well as their cat, Boo.
Mike Smith, DVM

Dr. Mike Smith has been with CAC since 1991. A native of Green County, he attended undergraduate studies at Lindsey Wilson College and the University of Kentucky. Dr. Smith received his veterinary degree from Auburn University in 1991. His interests include small animal surgery and large animal health. He is a deacon at his church and in his spare time serves as a Boy Scout volunteer. Dr. Smith resides in Campbellsville with his wife and two children and their cats, Whiskers & Socks. He is a member of AVMA and KVMA.
Grant Whobrey

Grant Whobrey is a senior veterinary student at Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Currently, Grant is completing his preceptorship with us in preparation for his upcoming graduation in May of 2009. Grant and his family lived in Campbellsville until 1994, at which time they moved to Elizabethtown, KY. After graduating from Elizabethtown High School in 2001, he attended Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN for his undergraduate studies. Grant received a B.S. in Biology from FHU in 2005 and has been at Auburn University since '05. He has one dog, a male Saint Bernard named Samson.
